The mission of DTW Software is to develop software in applications that are useful to a wide spectrum of users, by integrating the essential relevant tools in application-specific software. PhotoDub™ is such an example. By integrating the essential and relevant tools in image editing, voice editing and e-mail client software, we developed PhotoDub™ which can be useful to thousands of digital camera owners. They can now edit their picture, add voice and send e-mail in one application.
DTWSoftware development philosophy is based on two premises:
1. The 20/80 rule, i.e. 80% of most software users only use 20% of the tools available in the software.
These infrequently used tools actually complicate the use of the software.
2. In spite of the significant progress made to date to make software "user friendly", it is still difficult to
use software that is not used on a daily basis. We make special efforts in our development to provide
interface that improves the user-friendliness of the software, so that the occasional users of software
can get to work with minimum efforts in familiarizing themselves with the commands.
